The Yankees are going for their fourth straight win tonight in St. Louis after taking yesterday's game, 6-4, in 12 innings. The Game starts soon, so I'm going to make this quick while I have the chance.

Mark Teixeira is out of the lineup once against with stiffness in his right wrist. Teixeira is expected to see his surgeon on Thursday's off-day, but from what he was saying to reporters before the game, this sounds to be a non-issue right now, and something that he was suppose to expect as he comes up on the one-year anniversary of his surgery.

Kelly Johnson is in the lineup at first base against while Teixeira is out. The Yankees don't have a true backup first baseman, which clearly shows often with Johnson at first base.

Alfonso Soriano is back in the lineup in right field tonight with Ichiro on the bench.

Here is tonight's lineup at St. Louis:

  1. Brett Gardner LF
  2. Derek Jeter SS
  3. Jacoby Ellsbury CF
  4. Brian McCann C
  5. Yangervis Solarte 3B
  6. Alfonso Soriano RF
  7. Brian Roberts 2B
  8. Kelly Johnson 1B
  9. David Phelps P
