The rains rolled into town with the Mariners yesterday, showing up throughout last night's series opener, and it didn't go away. With storms circling around New York all day, the Yankees' game against the M's tonight, the second of the three game set at Yankee Stadium this week, was rained out.

The game will be made up at Yankee Stadium on Monday, June 2nd at 7:05 pm. The Yankees had the day off, as did the Mariners, with a series against the Oakland Athletics starting the next day at the Stadum.

Tonight's starting pitchers, David Phelps, will be skipped over and the Yankees will go with Hiroki Kuroda tomorrow night in the series finale, as planned, and rather than skipping Roenis Elias, the Mariners will push back their rotation to have Elias start tomorrow, not Felix Hernandez, meaning the Yankees will not have to face him this series. Yippie, mini victory!
