According to Josh Norris, the team has called up Branden Pinder, to AAA. This is the second major callup up today, as Kyle Roller was also promoted. The has placed Corban Joseph on the inactive list, and released Yoshi Tateyama, and sent Chirs Leroux to AA. Donnie Collins tweeted both stories.

  • RF Ramon Flores 0-3, 2 BB. Has more walks than ks this season.

  • LF Zoilo Almonte: 1-3, BB, 1 K.
  • CF Adonis Garcia: 1-3, BB, SB.

Double-A Trenton Thunder crush Reading 8-2.

  • According to Kardos, the Yankees will activate Tyler Austin on the 10th. If Newman was telling the truth Slade should join him soon, and give the Yankees rather crowed team.

  • 3B Rob Segedin: 0-5, 1 R, RBI, 3 BB, 1 HBP. .896 OPS on the year. Could be going to AAA soon, as O’Brien can play third, and the team will be over -crowded once Austin and Heathcott come back.
  • C Gary Sanchez: 0-4, 1 RBI, 1 K. Hit a couple of deep outs, one of which was really close to being a homer.
