Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders: Was once again postponed due to rain. They will play two games tomorrow, and have scheduled another double-header on June 26th.

AA Trenton Thunder: Win 6-5 over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. They won the game off a walk-off single by Mason Williams.  In bigger news, the Thunder are soon going to get Tyler Austin and Taylor Garrison back. This has been confirmed on twitter by Austin’s mom, and by Matt Kardos.

CF Mason Williams: 2-4, 2 R, 1 2B, 1 RBI, 1 BB. Has hit safely in each game this year.

2B Rob Refsnyder: 0-3 1 BB 1 K. Still looking for his first hit of the season.

3B Rob Segedin: 2-3, 1 R, 2 RBI

C Gary Sanchez: 1-4, 1 2B, 1 RBI. Two hits, two doubles for him this season. Gunned down Billy Burns at trying to steal second. Burns stole 74 bases last season and was only caught 7 times.

LF Taylor Dugas: 1-3, 1 R, 1 E. scored the game winning run.

SS Ali Castillo 1-4, 1 R, 1 E

Zach Nuding 6.2 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 3 BB, 7 K, 9-2 GB/FB Ratio. Had thrown just 52 pitches through 5 innings. Really labored in the 7th, allowed a homerun to Ryan Schimpf. Ended up throwing 95 pitches, 60 of which were strikes.

Pat Venditte 1.1 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 2 K,

Diego Moreno: 1 IP, 1 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 1 K. One of the two player acquired in the A.J. Burnett trade.

CF Jake Cave 0-3, 1BB, 1 K.

SS Cito Culver 1-4, 2 K.

3B Eric Jagielo 0-4, 3 K.  Still looking for his first hit.

C Peter O'Brien 1-3, 1 BB, 2 K.

DH Dante Bichette Jr. 1-3, 1 BB, 1 K.

2B Angelo Gumbs 0-3, 1 BB, 1 K.

1B Reymond Nunez 0-3, 1 K.

RF Yeicok Calderon: 1-3, 2 K.

LF Cody Grice: 0-3, 2 K.

Rafael De Paula 3.1 IP, 5 H, 3 ER, 4 BB, 6 K. Not the best start of the year, but it should be noted that Ruth was the one who let 2 of his 3 runs in. One run scored on a wild pitch and another a sacrifice fly. If Ruth didn’t thriw that wild pitch De Paula’s line looks much better.

Eric Ruth:  3.2 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 2 K, WP.

Evan Rutckyj: 1 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 1 BB 0 K. was a starter last season, I’m not sure if this is a permanent move.

SS Tyler Wade 2-5, 1 SB.

1B Mike Ford 1-5.

3B Miguel Andujar 1-4, K.

CF Brandon Thomas 3-4, 1 R, 1 2B, 1 3B.

C Luis Torrens 1-2, 1 R, 1 RBI, 2 BB. So far the Yankees aggressiveness has paid off. He has as many strikeouts as walks. He also threw a runner out, but we already knew he was a good catcher.

2B Gosuke Katoh 0-4, 3 K.

LF Michael O'Neill 0-4, 2 K.

Giovanny Gallegos 5 IP, 5 H, 4 ER, 1 BB, 7 K, 4-2 FB/GB ratio. Had a rough second inning, but faced the minimum in his last three innings.

Andy Beresford 2 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 0 K, 4-1 FB/GB ratio.

Stefan Lopez: .2 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 1 K.

Jordan Cote:  .1 IP, 0 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 1 K. Kind of hope this isn’t a permanent move to the pen.
